Lindsey Wright joined KKR in 2022 as Managing Director and Head of Investment Services for the firm’s Real Estate Credit business. She is President and CEO of K-Star Asset Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of KKR Corp, which will perform due diligence, underwriting, closing, primary servicing oversight, credit asset management, special servicing, and surveillance activities. Prior to joining KKR, she was senior managing director and head of special servicing at Greystone, where she managed the loan and REO workout teams, as well as the surveillance, investor reporting and due diligence teams. She joined Greystone as part of the company’s acquisition of C-III Asset Management LLC in December 2019. Lindsey joined ARCap (acquired by C-III Capital Partners LLC’s predecessor company) in 2001 to be part of the newly formed special servicing platform. During her tenure at the legacy company, she managed the CMBS investor reporting, surveillance and transactions teams. Prior to that, she worked for the Bank of New York in their Irving, Texas asset management shop.

Libby Luther joined K-Star in June 2022 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining K-Star, she served as Director of Corporate Compliance at C-III Capital Partners LLC, managing compliance and corporate governance, including investment advisor compliance and regulatory matters, internal audit and vendor management oversight. Before that, she was Vice-President of National Sales for Sterling National, managing new business development and retention for real estate mortgage servicers and financial institutions. Libby started her career with GE Capital and has over 30 years of experience in corporate operations, compliance, and financial services across various commercial real estate regulated entities.

Mike Stauber joined K-Star in July 2022 as General Counsel. Prior to joining K-Star, he served as Associate General Counsel at Freddie Mac, partnering with in-house clients, outside counsel, regulators, strategic partners and other industry stakeholders to navigate a broad range of asset management, servicing and operational issues, in respect to both stabilized and non-performing assets –related to commercial multifamily properties across the U.S. Mike has 20 years of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate finance and experience leading and working with cross-functional teams to build and improve platforms for evaluating, documenting, and managing substantial transaction volume. He is a member of the Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia (Corporate Counsel) bars.

Rob DeWitt joined K-Star in August 2022 as Finance and Accounting Manager. Prior to joining K-Star, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Western International, managing the accounting, tax and finance teams. Before that, Rob was Controller at Highgate Hotels, Sowell and Co. and Goldman Sachs. Rob started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is CPA and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

David Dawson joined K-Star in September 2022 as Technology and Data Manager. Prior to joining K-Star, he was a Vice President of Data Product Management at Bank OZK, where he was responsible for managing partnerships with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and create strategic enterprise roadmaps. Before Bank OZK, David was the IT Director of CRE Business Solutions at ORIX USA/Lument where he developed innovative solutions for businesses and customers by leading and participating within a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, Application Developer’s and IT Support. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Information Technology at C-III Capital Partners LLC and its predecessor companies.

Angela Norris Johnson joined K-Star in July 2022 as Head of Special Servicing. Prior to joining K-Star, she served as Vice President of Asset Management at Argentic Services Company LP, managing a portfolio of complex, high-touch non-performing assets and providing leadership in the company’s distressed loan resolution, B-piece underwriting and Surveillance activities. Before that, Angela was a Director of Special Servicing at C-III Asset Management LLC and has held other special servicing asset management positions with C-III Asset Management LLC and its predecessor companies. Prior to that, she managed the Consents team at ORIX Real Estate Capital Markets, and began her career at BEI Asset Management (later AMRESCO) in various consulting support, loan administration and asset management roles.

Cheryl Eskridge joined KKR in July 2022 as Head of Credit Asset Management. Prior to joining K-Star, she served as Vice President of Asset Management for PGIM Real Estate Loan Services, responsible for overseeing the company’s asset management team and also served as Director for the general account portfolio at Prudential. Before that, she was a Director of Special Servicing at C-III Asset Management LLC, managing a portfolio and team of asset managers responsible for loss mitigation for non-performing commercial real estate loans included in CMBS securitizations. Cheryl has held other positions in commercial real estate finance and asset management, including developing and managing a commercial mortgage servicing platform for Countrywide Real Estate Finance.

Steve Byron joined K-Star in February 2023 as Head of Underwriting and Due Diligence. Prior to joining K-Star, he was a Senior Vice President and Regional Credit Officer at First Foundation Bank where he developed and led and underwriting platform for both bridge and perm loans in Texas. Prior to that, Steve worked for A10 Capital, GE Capital and Archon/Goldman Sachs where his experience included team management in bridge financing, perm financing, asset/portfolio management, and loan sales.
